EVA INTIMA® BIOLACT OVULES is a medical device designed for the effective and safe restoration of the normal acidity of the vagina, when it is disturbed for reasons such as:
a) pathological conditions such as vaginal infections of bacterial or fungal etiology [vaginitis]
b) taking some medications such as antibiotics
c) normal conditions such as menstruation.
Thanks to the supply of live lactic bacteria in the form of the seed, the viability of the probiotic strains and their successful implantation in the vaginal mucosa is ensured, with the aim of the immediate remodeling of the beneficial flora.
Its composition is enriched with glycogen and lactic acid to ensure ideal conditions for the growth of lactic bacteria even under inflammatory conditions as well as with chamomile extract for immediate relief of itching, burning and irritation.
In a blister packaging for hygienic protection and ensuring the survival of the total population of lactic bacteria offered until the last dose.
How does it work;
The seeds of the lactic bacteria Bacillus coagulans are inserted into the vagina. At this point they are stimulated by environmental conditions (lactic acid) & germinate taking their active form. They attach to the gaps in the vaginal mucosa and begin to consume the existing food (glycogen) and release lactic acid. At the same time, the proliferation begins and the vaginal balance is gradually reshaped.
It does not contain medicinal substances, preservatives, synthetic colors and fragrances.
How do I use it?
THERAPEUTIC USE:
A) Vaginitis treated with topical medication. One vaginal suppository a day for 4-8 days after the end of the medication.
B) Atypical vaginitis without medication. One vaginal suppository a day for 6 days.
PREVENTIVE USE:
One vaginal suppository per week and one application for 2 days after the end of bleeding for women with menstruation.
Remove a vaginal suppository with its case from the blister by tearing in the perforated area. Open the case and remove the vaginal suppository by pulling the two flaps opposite the bottom of the case. Insert the vaginal suppository deep into the vagina using the index finger.
Important information:
The color of the suppository may vary from off-white to darker beige with or without spots shades. This phenomenon is normal and is not related to product deterioration.
Store in a shady place at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, away from children.
During the hot summer months, store in the refrigerator to prevent the suppositories from melting.
