Elgidium Plaque Disclosing is a gel—like toothpaste for adults and children from 7 years old with a fluorinol content to strengthen enamel and protect against caries.
A distinctive feature of the Elgidium Plaque Disclosing toothpaste is that it contains a patented mixture of food dyes to indicate signs of plaque. After cleaning, the remnants of plaque are colored green, which allows you to improve and practice the skill of brushing your teeth over and over again.
The paste contains Fluorinol (nicamethanol hydrofluoride, or fluorinol), a second—generation aminofluoride patented by Pierre Fabre, at a concentration of 1000 ppm. Its difference from the usual fluorine compound is the accelerated fixation of fluorine ions in tooth enamel. The results of a laboratory study showed that for 1 minute of contact of fluorinol with teeth, 5 times more fluoride ions are fixed on the enamel compared to conventional mineral fluoride. Thus, Fluorinol promotes effective remineralization and strengthening of tooth enamel.
