  • Lamberts Cranberry is a diet supplement with cranberry extract and vitamin C for the health of the urinary tract. The cranberry contained in the Lamberts formulation is made from fresh ripe fruits that are dried in low pressure and temperature conditions.

Cranberries are rich in antioxidant tannins, proanthocyanidins (PACs) that help reduce the attachment of bacteria to the urinary wall, preventing the appearance of urinary tract infection and cystitis. It also makes the urine pH more acidic by preventing bacterial growth and has detoxifying properties.*

The Lamberts Cranberry dietary supplement yields 750 mg of titrated fruit extract, equivalent to 18750 mg of fresh

Cranberries have long been known to women for the health of the urinary system. However, cranberry juice is very sharp to the taste and consequently many commercial cranberry drinks are often laden with sugar and high in calories. A more convenient way to take cranberries is in the form of capsules but often these can be a compromise on potency.

As the leading experts in nutrition and herbs, we have developed taste-free coated capsules that contain an unrivalled 375mg of concentrated cranberry extract, equivalent to a full 18,750mg of whole fresh cranberries per capsule. These maximum strength capsules provide a significant amount of cranberries without all the sugar and calories.

Vitamin C is also included, which contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

Many people consider cranberries to be a superfood due to their high nutrient and antioxidant content. In fact, research has linked the nutrients in cranberries to a lower risk of urinary tract infection (UTI), the prevention of certain types of cancer, improved immune function, and decreased blood pressure.

Several studies indicate that cranberry helps prevent UTIs of the bladder and urethra (the tube that drains urine from the bladder), especially for women who have frequent UTIs. In one study of older women, cranberry juice reduced the amount of bacteria in the bladder compared to placebo.

Cranberries are filled with vitamin C and salicylic acid. The vitamin C present in cranberries is known for helping individuals achieve glowy skin and visibly eliminate blemishes. These two components work together to also help reduce hyper-pigmentation, eliminate acne scars, and lighten blemishes.

Compounds called proanthocyanidins provide cranberries' vibrant color and also work as antimicrobial agents. They can help prevent bad bacteria, such as E. coli, from colonizing your gut and may also strengthen the gut barrier and reduce inflammation in and around your digestive tract.

The vitamin C and antioxidant content inherent in this dry fruit and juice help to strengthen the roots of hair known as follicles, to stimulate the proliferation of long and robust locks of hair.

Out of all fruits, cranberries have one of the lowest amounts of sugar. In every cup of cranberries, there is only 4g of sugar. This compares to raspberries, blackberries, and strawberries, which have 5, 7, and 7 grams of sugar per cup.
